Currently, Denise Phua is a Member of the Parliament representing the ruling People’s Action Party (PAP) in Moulmein-Kallang GRC. She is also the Mayor of Central Singapore District. Denise Phua is 57 years old politician who has focused on developing programs for disables.
She was born on 9 December 1959 in Singapore where she studied at Balestier Girls Primary School, Raffles Girls School and Hwa Chong Junior College. Denise Phua graduated in Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the National University of Singapore and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Golden Gate University. She started her social work as a volunteer when her 3 years old son was diagnosed with autism. After that, she worked a lot for the people of her country and helping many disable communities. In 2004 Denise Phua started her political career and joined ruling PAP Jalan Besar branch. In the following year, Denise Phua was appointed to the Feedback Supervisory Panel. Denise Phua has a huge fan following in the entire Singapore and earns a huge respect in other countries also. She is active on social media also and have a good fan following also.
