Fann Wong is a very popular and talented Singaporean actress, model and singer. She appeared in many television shows, Hollywood movies, Chinese movies and some more. She is the first actress who wins both the Best Actress Award and Best Newcomer Award at Singapore Star Awards in 1995 and she is the also the first Singaporean actress who get a break in Hollywood.
She was born on 27 January 1971 in Singapore to a Hakka tailor parents. She did her schooling from Temasek Secondary School. She was a child actor and Wong plays many amazing roles in children programs also. In the age of 16, she won a beauty contest also organized by popular “Her World” a Singapore famous fashion magazine. In 1998 she gets a break to play the lead role in the remake of super hit drama The Return of the Condor Heroes. In 2003 Fann became the first Singaporean actress to play a major and vital role in Hollywood movie named as Shanghai Knights. After doing this movie she came into limelight and get the huge positive response from the viewers. After this, in 2004 she continued to playing role in China period dramas such as in My Fair Lady and Moon Fairy. In 2007 Fann Wong signed a contract with China’s Huayi Brothers Her first Singapore film name was Just Follow Law. After getting success in the film industry in 2013 Fann has opened their own studio and ended her contract with Huayi Brothers and signed a new and more contract with popular Taiwan agency Catwalk. She was in the relationship with Malaysia actor Christopher Lee since late 2002 and after eight years she got married to him on 16 May 2009. She won many popular and amazing awards in her movie careers such as best actress award, top 5 most popular females award, top 10 most popular female awards and much more.
