He started his career as a small screen actor with famous MediaCorp. Huang won Best Supporting Actor Award also for three times during his 20 years television career.
He was born on 1960 in Singapore. After doing acting on television for 20 years he decided to move to a different challenge. He started his own movie producing company named as Red Group Film and he became a movie producer, movie actor, and director also. He produced his first movie Autumn in March in S$1 Million budget but due to some issues this movie was not released on Big Screen but available at downloaded to just DVD release. He did not get support from local movie distributors. He starts audition in Singapore and searching for actresses in 300 Singaporean models. He won many awards also for his amazing acting skill such as in 2002 he won Best Supporting Actor Award for The Vagrant and Holland V, in 2006 he won Best Supporting Actor Award for Women of Times and much more. Some of his popular television dramas names are such as The Golden Path, The Greatest Love of All, Beyond the Axis of Truth II, My Dear Kins, Metamorphosis, Women of Times, Double Happiness I, Double Happiness II, Holland V, The Child’s Hope, The Vagrant My Genie, Behind Bars and many more. In 1997 he was married to Thespian but in 1997 this couple divorced due to some personal issues. Then he remarried to his second wife and has a son. He has the huge fan following worldwide.
