Lee Hsien Loong is the current Prime Minister of Singapore. In the year 2004, Lee became the third prime minister after taking over the leadership of the People’s Action Party. Lee started his current term on 15 January 2016. He is the eldest son of the Singapore’s first prime minister named as Lee Kuan Yew. He was born on 10 February 1952 in Singapore. He is the eldest son of the first prime minister of Singapore named as Lee Yuan Kew and his wife Kwa Geok Choo. In 1971 he was awarded as President’s Scholarship and Singapore Armed Forces Overseas Scholarship by the Public Service Commission. In 1973 he was a senior wrangle and in 1974 he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and a Diploma in Computer Science. He started his political career in 1980 as the core member of the next batch of new leaders in People’s Action Party. Lee was first elected as Member of Parliament in 1984. Lee has good relations with other countries also such as with China, United States, Taiwan etc. His first wife was a Malaysian-born doctor named as Wong Ming Yang but she died at the age of 31 on 28 October 1982.
