Ng Chee Meng is well-known Singaporean politician and a former air force general who is currently serving as the Minister for Education for Schools and working in the office since 1 November 2016 and he is also the Second Minister for Transport since 1 November 2016. Ng Chee Meng is the current MP for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC since January 2016. He is the official member of the People Action Party (PAP).
He was born on 8 August 1968 in Singapore where he educated at The Chinese High School and Hwa Chong Junior College and awarded the Singapore Armed Forces Overseas Training Award graduating in 1987. Ng Chee Meng completed Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering at the United States Air Force Academy in 1991. In Military Ng Chee Meng working for many years such as from 1986 to 2015 and ranked at Lieutenant General. He was also the Chief of Defence Force from 27 March 2013 to 18 August 2015.
