About : Tony Tan is a Singaporean Politician who was born in 1940 in Singapore. In 1979 he first became MP from Sembawang SMC and kept this seat till 2006. He also served as Minister of Finance, Education and Defense in the Government. In 2011 he became 7th President of Singapore and going to complete his tenure in 2017 August.
