Zhang Haijie is a well-known and popular Chinese-Singaporean television news presenter with MediaCorp TV Channel 8. She is 46 years old news presenter who is the permanent resident and nationalist of Singapore. Presently, she is working with MediaCorp as current affairs presenter since 1997. In 2012, Zhang Haijie won the Best News Presenter Award also at Star Awards.
She was born on 28 August 1971 in Xi’an, China. Zhang Haijie educated at the Communications University of China and Australian National University. Zhang Haijie was a part-time Ph.D. candidate at Nanyang Technology University and completed her Ph.D. in April 2012. Zhang Haijie relocating to Singapore in November 1998 after getting her degree in broadcasting and hosting. In 2003, Zhang Haijie hosted the current affairs program named as Inside Out for SPH Mediaworks Channel U. In 2005, when Mediacorp TV and SPH Mediaworks merged she was the only news presenter who invited by MediaCorp in their company. In 2012, Zhang Haijie finally received the Best News Presenter Award for her broadcasts and live political analysis. Zhang Haijie is unmarried and has said that she does not go to find a partner.
