He was born on 8 January 1966 in Malacca, Malaysia. Pang studied as Anglo-Chinese School and studied at Anglo-Chinese Junior College. He was graduated in Law degree from Keele University in Britain. He worked in British theater and television before returning to Singapore. After returning to the home he joined MediaCorp. Later on, he switched to SPH Media Works as presenter and producer. Pang is married to Tracie Howitt and the sweet couple has two sons.
