Dennis Chew is very popular and talented Singaporean actor, radio deejay, singer and variety show host and singer. He is also known by the name of Zhou Chongqing. He is well known for his amazing role on Y.E.S 93.3 FM, he plays the role of Aunty Lucy which requires him to cross dress middle-aged women in Paris and Milan.
He was born on 15 August 1973 in Singapore He studied at the former Pearls Hill School and Tuan Mong High School. In the age of 13 chew performed in musical and children television programme. After this, in 1991 he played the role in very famous TV show named as The Future is Mine. He also serving his National Service with the army and then went to Shatec to get a diploma in Hotel Management. After completing his education Chew became a Chinese teacher in Yumin Primary School and Raffles Girls Primary School and at the same time, he also worked a part time job t DJ at local radio station Y.E.S 93.3FM. But after some time he joined full-time DJ with this channel. In the year 2005, he released his first music album which became very popular. In 2009 he got first break on television by doing work in variety show named as Paris and Milan. His performance is really appreciated by everyone and he got a huge response from the critics. He won first ever Top 10 popular Male Artiste Award also in 2010 at Star Awards. While doing work in DJ he also hosted many television roadshows, games shows and starred in several television programs. In 2013 he decided to move to the Love 97.2 FM after doing work at YES 93.3FM for the past 20 years. Some of his popular films and television names are such as Zodiac: The Race Begins, One Last Dance, Men in White, It’s a great, Great World, Dance Dance Dragon, The Future is Mine, The Invincible Squad, Love Me, Love Me Not, Beyond and many more popular films and programs.
