Tay Ping Hui is a 46 years old talented actor, director, and screenwriter who has become a household name in Singapore. He is best known for his amazing acting skills, singing and musical talents and intellect. Tay is very popular and highly repudiated figure in the industry. He was born on 11 November 1970 in Singapore. He attended his primary and secondary studies at Catholic High School and Catholic Junior College. He was very active in sports and other activities also, he represented his school in basketball, volleyball, athletics and many other sports. He was also a black belt exponent in Tae Kwon Do. He was the general manager of the American Franchise and he was also planning to pursue his MBA at Harvard University. Tay has been nominated for Best Actor Awards in many years like in 2000, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, and 2011 and in 2012 also. He playing major and very impressive roles in shows produced by MediaCorp. He has performed on live stages also for many times such as on National Day and New Year’s Day. In the year 2013, he completed his first directorial debut named as “Meet the Giants”. This movie was screened in China and Singapore.
