Sharon Au is a very popular former Singaporean actress and host who appeared in m any dramas and theaters. She won many awards also when she was official artiste under MediaCorp and she is also the member of MediaCorp but as on executive position. She was active in the industry since 1995 to 2005. She was born on 1 January 1975 in Singapore. She was studied at CHIJ Saint Nicholas Girl’s School and Hwa Chong Junior College in Singapore. She graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Waseda University in 2011. Before coming into television industry she was a flight stewardess at Singapore Airlines. She started her career in the entertainment industry from Toy Factory Production English remake of Hong Kong stage musical show named as I Have a Date with String. She is well known for her amazing co – hosting City Beat in the 1990s. She was one of the leading and self-established hosts in MediaCorp alongside with Guo Liang and Quan Yi Fong. In 2005 Au left for Japan for her further studies in the year 2005. After completion of studies, she came back to Singapore to host very popular Star Awards in 2007. Recently she was seen in 2015 at The LKY Musical show. Currently, she is not working on many major projects and shows but her popularity still remains worldwide. Some of her popular theater names are such as I Have a Date with spring, Beauty World, Storm, A Tinted Edge, Chessmaster, Happy Ghost, The LKY Musical and much more. She won many awards also at popular awards shows such as in 1999 she won Top 10 Popular Female Artiste, In 2000 Best Variety Show at Star Awards and won many more awards also.
